Michela has graced some of the most esteemed stages both nationally and internationally. This includes performances at the legendary Ranchman\u2019s Cookhouse and Dancehall, Cowboy\u2019s Nightclub, Big Valley Jamboree, the Budweiser Stage at Home, Country Thunder in Calgary and in Kissimmee, Florida. She regularly performances at the Calgary Stampede hitting both the Coca-Cola Stage, Nashville North Tent and was recently featured at the 2020 Cavendish Beach Music Festival in PEI. Sheedy was chosen as an RBCxMusic First Up Emerging Artist and was titled Notable Life\u2019s Breakout Canadian Musician of the Year in 2018. She is a winner of 96.5 CKFM\u2019s Country Star Search, grand prize winner of the Global Country Star Search and three-time nominee of Country Music Alberta\u2019s Horizon Female Artist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year and Fans\u2019 Choice. Michela has been a finalist in a plethora of Alberta talent competitions including: Calgary Stampede Talent Search, Country 105\u2019s Rising Star Competition and two-time, top twelve finalist in WILD 95.3\u2019s – Project WILD Country Artist Development Program. She has hit the stage alongside the likes of Keith Urban and opened for such acts as Dallas Smith, Dean Brody, Aaron Goodvin and Lonestar.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Michela Sheedy makes her community a priority. She proudly represents the NHL and the Calgary Flames as a performer of the Canadian and American national anthems. She contributes to efforts in fundraising for Calgary-based charities including Gems for Gems<\/a>\u00a0and the Alberta Music Education Fund.<\/p>\n
