The Overall Protocol is fronted by long-lost twin brothers Tiny Tim (lead vocals) and Felix Armstrong Thibideau III (fiddle), who were separated at birth and raised on opposite sides of the border. Tiny Tim grew up in the woods of Maine yelling across lakes and developing a voice that can scare ducks out of the sky, while Felix was raised in Quebec where fiddle music is basically a second language. The two somehow reconnected years later through their shared love of country music, suspiciously tight harmonies, and a mutual commitment to wearing overalls on stage whether the venue asks for it or not.

Their live show is half honky-tonk concert, half family reunion that gets slightly out of hand. Felix absolutely rips the fiddle like a man trying to win a lumberjack competition, while Tiny Tim keeps the crowd laughing, singing, and occasionally wondering if the brothers are about to start arguing mid-song. Backing them up is Travis Travis on drums, Ross “Possum” Possum on guitar, Red Thudd on bass, and Boone McCaw on guitar, a group of characters who somehow manage to keep the train on the tracks while the twins run the show. It’s loud, it’s rowdy, and it’s just barely under control.
