DESCRIPTION:Greg Carroll is an accomplished musician who’s career started at the young age of 16. A native of St George’s NFLD & member of QALIPU MI’KMAQ  First Nations Band\,\nGreg started playing guitar @ age 9 \,by 16 had started playing bass in his first band .\nIn 1996 Greg attained a B.A. in Music from ST Francis Xavier University where he studied Jazz & upright bass under Skip Beckwith (Ann Murray fame)then headed west where he hit the road with various country bands all over western Canada . By 2000\, Greg moved to Calgary & started playing & recording with guitar legend Amos Garrett . That tenure would last 16 years . During that time Greg started teaching music privately & doing solo gigs \, performing songs of his songwriting hero’s John Prine\, Steve Earle& Kris Kristofferson .\nIt was during this time \, Greg started writing his own songs. However bass duties would be a priority when in 2010 Chad Brownlee came calling. Greg played festivals all over North America including several television performances on the CCMAS \, Junos \, not to mention several music videos & radio. During that time he also toured with country stars Lindsay Ell & Jess Moskaluke.\nIn 2018 Greg parted ways with Brownlee & immediately started recording & touring with Black Mountain Whiskey Rebellion\, which he is still presently part of today. In 2019 Carroll also joined Clayton Bellamy and the Congregation\, & began co-writing for both projects. After a busy \, inspiring trip to Nashville that included a BMWR video \, Congregation show & writing sessions \, Greg decided to write an album about First Nations that fought in The American Civil War \,WW1\, WW2\, Korea\, Vietnam . After much research\, Greg has written a tapestry of historical stories & characters \, much forgotten now resurrected with honour & respect for his First Nations roots.

Even by country music standards\, where outsized charisma is a basic job requirement the Calgary-based singer/songwriter is a showstopper with a long list of achievements under her shiny “Pure Country” belt buckle\, a legacy gift from her very influential musician grandfather. \nThe Calgary-based Mayell — a former downhill ski racer & coach\, and now a sought-after voice coach with seven singles already issued to radio and a string of marquee\, barn-burning Canadian live shows alongside everyone from Kane Brown\, Pam Tillis\, Lorrie Morgan\, Dean Brody\, Brett Kissel\, Emerson Drive\, to the Washboard Union and more. She has performed across Canada and the US at Country Thunder Arizona\, Alberta\, and Saskatchewan (Craven)\, Sunfest\, Rockin’ River fest\, Coca-Cola Stage\, Nashville North\, and Calgary Stampede Rangeland Tent to name a few. \nThe singer/songwriter — perhaps best known for the lyric-driven anthem “Rules Need Rebels\,” her sixth single to country radio — collected the Alberta Country Music Award for Female Artist of the Year (2018). DESCRIPTION:“Making music is a life-long passion that can’t be ignored” -­ Shannon Smith \nRarely does a performer come along with such unbridled energy\, dedication and natural talent as that of Shannon Smith.  Her music is influenced by the poise and traditionalism of Lorrie Morgan\, the showmanship and flare of Shania Twain and the strength of Sheryl Crow.  No genre is off limits\, whether it be driving country or classic rock\, as is evident by her medleys of 80’s and modern dance hits. \nShannon was thrilled to be the Winner of the Country 105/Lammle’s Rising Star Contest held at Ranchman’s\, Calgary and more recently Winner of Ranchman’s Battle of the Bands in 2020. She has graced the stage of several top-notch venues and events throughout Alberta\, including the Big Valley Jamboree and the Alberta Pro Rodeo circuit.  Shannon has opened for Canadian country recording artist Chad Brownlee as well as super group Lonestar\, Johnny Reid\, Duane Steele\, Julian Austin and Aaron Pritchett. \nShannon released her debut album “Tell Me Something\,” charting five singles that garnered her much attention at Canadian radio. Her fourth single “Settle Down” reached #2 on the Hot Country 50 chart in Queensland\, Australia\, landing her between Eric Church’s “Drink In My Hand” and Lady Antebellum’s “We Owned The Night”. “Take Me Drunk# I’m Home” and “Can’t Have My Heart” highlighted the overall strength of Shannon’s album. \nThe new album “I Hate Long Goodbyes\,” includes collaborations with Patricia Conroy\, “Nashville Star” winner Angela Hacker and songwriter Wade Kirby(I Saw God Today\, George Strait).  Accolades include Female Vocalist Of The Year and Fan’s Choice  nominations by the Alberta Country Music Association. With the upcoming release of Shannon’s new iPhone artist app and her weekly webisode series\, 2021 is promising to be a ground-breaking year. \nWhile maintaining her girl-next-door charm and honest sincerity\, Shannon Smith’s star continues to quickly rise.
